ZENGRAB LANEWATCH

ZenGrab LaneWatch is a digital wireless traffic enforcement camera that provides unattended Closed Circuit Television based video evidence of bus lane and moving traffic offences. It has been designed to provide an effective and efficient means of traffic enforcement without the need and cost of more traditional CCTV cameras and their associated operators.

Triggered by traffic driving in a bus lane or committing a moving traffic offence such as banned turn, video images of the offence taking place are digitally recorded in high resolution. Pre and post trigger recording periods can also be set to ensure that sufficient evidence is captured to enable a reviewer to establish if a contravention has taken place. The contravention video clip together with its associated meta-data such as the time and date the contravention took place, the camera number and location and the vehicles number plate details are stored in a secure encrypted state on the processors hard drive, ready for download to the evidence review facility.

Evidence received from the LaneWatch camera via the Internet can be reviewed using the ZenGrab Review Client software running on a typical office PC. Review tools allow the operator to grab still images of the video for printing on the resulting Penalty Charge Notice which is sent to the registered vehicle owner. Other tools allow the reviewer to hide persons or vehicle identities that are in the image but not associated with the contravention.
