GATEWAY INTERFACE

ZenGrab Gateway is the interface software that allows the import of video evidence captured by Mobile Enforcement Vehicles in to the ZenGrab Digital Enforcement Solution. Designed primarily for digital based recording solutions, it can also be used to import analogue DVD recordings.

Video evidence recorded by Mobile Enforcement Vehicles such as the popular Toyota IQ can be imported directly in to the ZenGrab Digital Enforcement Solution. Most modern vehicle based recording systems can export their video data at the end of a session using a USB flash memory stick or a direct network connection. ZenGrab Gateway then imports that video data and makes it available for review on the ZenGrab System.

Once the video evidence has been imported in to the ZenGrab System it is stored in chronological order whilst waiting for review. The review process allows an operator to play back the video clips and identify still images for printing on the resultant PCN. Tools are provided to obscure or hide the identities of non-related persons or vehicles in the still images for data-protection. See the literature for ZenGrab Review for further details.
