ZENGRAB CORE

ZenGrab Core brings together the functionality of Render and Archive Server software applications as well as the LaneWatch specific Evidence Retrieval and Control software.

The ZenGrab Render and Archive Server software applications form the heart of the ZenGrab Digital Enforcement Suite and are designed to run on end-user supplied high capacity server hardware. The servers handle huge amounts of attended contravention video evidence. However, the unattended ZenGrab LaneWatch cameras generate much smaller file sizes and so do not need the high capacity servers necessary for attended systems. Instead more streamlined, hosted server software has been developed that reduces end-user IT infrastructure costs substantially.

Encrypted evidence produced by LaneWatch cameras is wireless transmitted to the ZenGrab VES service for temporary storage until the hosted Core software securely collects it. The evidence is then verified and decrypted. A copy of the evidence is kept in an encrypted state for long term storage and a decrypted copy is used for the review process.

The ZenGrab Review Client(s) connect from the end-user control room to the Core Server(s) via the Internet. Likewise the link to the Notice Processing System. The transfer of evidence is carried out in a secure encrypted state and is certified by the VCA.
